The origins of video games begin with the idea of creating a simulator missile launch after the Second World War (1947), well, in those times there was not too much technology, and they used the “Cathode-Ray Tube” were only representations of linear trajectory, this idea developed and patented by Thomas T. Goldsmith Jr. and Estle Ray Mann.

Then followed the experimentation, making the first simulated game system, which consisted in a game of tennis projected in a Oscilloscope, like the previous game had lines, but those is more fluid. After 15 years of experimentation, is reduced to just a game that had a vertical line in the center of the screen and two blocks, one on each side of the screen and a small square feigned a ball, becoming the first in this and the first video game machines Arcade, this game was called PONG, marketed and distributed by Atari.

” It is wonderful to see all these processes and attempts to create a video game born of a need to generate war, damage and suffering, and developed in a complex giants computers, has developed a harmless game of tennis in a small arcade machine delivering happiness and happy moments to people”.
